Resolutions & Petitions to AC19. The official Annual Conference Policies and Procedures as adopted by the 2014 Central Texas Annual Conference stipulate that “All resolutions and petitions for consideration of Annual Conference shall be presented to the conference secretary [no fewer than] sixty days prior to the beginning of the Annual Conference session.” The 2019 Central Texas Annual Conference will be gaveled to order on June 10, 2019. Therefore, resolutions and petitions must be received by 5 pm, Tuesday, April 9, 2019.
 
Display Table Application At annual conference, we make available a limited number of display tables to groups and organizations that provide resources that will help our local churches make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. For more information and to apply visit: https://www.ctcumc.org/ac19-displaytable . To be considered, applications must be received by April 15, 2019.
 
Election of 2020 Delegation Are you interested in representing the Central Texas Conference at the General Conference and/or South Central Jurisdictional Conference in 2020? Those who are eligible are invited to express their interest by filling out the form available here. Submissions must be received by May 3, 2019 to be assigned a number prior to the beginning of the annual conference session. As always, potential delegates can be nominated from the floor during the session.
 
Clergy Request for Excused Absence from AC19 Form Any clergy who cannot attend 2019 Annual Conference – all or a portion of the conference – must complete a Request for Excused Absence form and submit it to the Conference Secretary as soon as possible. That form is available here.
 
Childcare Registration Available Childcare is available for ages 3 months to 12 years old. To learn more and/or download the form, click here. Registration must be complete before June 3, 2019.
 
2019 Laity Summit: Leading the Transformation The conference laity team is hosting a pre-conference event on Sunday, June 9 from 9 am – 3 pm at Texas Hall on the campus of UT-Arlington. The focus of the laity summit is to energize and equip the lay leadership of our local churches to help lead the transformation taking place throughout our conference in response to our Wildly Important Goal (WIG). You will hear stories from people whose lives were changed (even saved) via their relationship with Jesus and the local church. We will also share best practices on how laity can best partner with clergy to make disciples of Jesus Christ, and much more. To learn more and register, click here.
